Qualifications

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Security & Network Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the security of our IT infrastructure and managing our network systems to ensure optimal performance and security. This role involves developing and implementing security policies, monitoring for security breaches, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Management:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, protocols, and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts and provide timely responses to security incidents.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
  • Implement and manage security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus solutions.
  • Experience navigating external audit requests and written responses from vendors or customers.
  • Stay updated with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
• Network Management:
  • Design, implement, and manage the organization’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Ensure network infrastructure is secure and adheres to best practices.
  • Plan and implement network upgrades and expansions.
  • Manage network-related documentation and ensure it is kept up to date.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during security and compliance audits.
  • Implement and enforce data protection policies.
• Lead and mentor a team of IT security and network professionals.
• Provide training and development opportunities to team members.
• Collaborate with other IT and business departments to align security and network initiatives with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT security and network management.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, security architectures, and threat landscapes.
• Experience with security technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Experience with cloud security and network management in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
