Job summary

ASG is seeking an IT Security Director to own and modernize HoldCo's internal IT and security environment. This hands-on role sits at the intersection of IT operations, security, automation, and AI, running core enterprise systems and building pragmatic controls that speed business delivery.

You will manage Google Workspace, device management, IAM, enterprise SaaS, and security tooling; monitor 24/7 SOC escalations; collaborate with the CISO and AI Governance to balance risk with rapid adoption

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating modern IT environments.
• Administered Google Workspace, device management, identity and access management, enterprise SaaS, and security tooling.
• Thinks about security as a builder enabling rapid product and business delivery.
• Fluent with enterprise AI tools and governance considerations around deployment.
• Experience with scripting / lightweight integrations to automate tasks.

Responsibilities

• Own HoldCo's core technology environment including Google Workspace, device management, IAM, enterprise SaaS, security and AI tooling.
• Build practical security controls that enable rapid deployment of new solutions while managing risk.
• Run user and device lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, access changes, and endpoint management.
• Monitor 24/7 SOC escalations, surface material issues, and coordinate with the CISO for incident response.
• Collaborate with AI Governance to implement policies and guardrails for safe enterprise AI adoption.

Job Description

ASG is looking for an IT Security Director to own and modernize HoldCo's internal IT and security environment. This is a hands‑on individual contributor role at the intersection of IT operations, security, automation, and AI. You'll run our core enterprise systems, build practical controls that help the business move faster, and ensure employees feel well supported.

You're Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will:

• Own HoldCo's core technology environment across Google Workspace, device management, identity management, enterprise SaaS, security tooling, and AI tooling.
• Build practical security controls that let teams deploy new SaaS, AI, and internal solutions quickly while appropriately managing risk.
• Run the user and device lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, access changes, endpoint management, and administration of core systems.
• Monitor escalations from our 24/7 SOC, surface material issues quickly, and partner with the CISO when an issue requires incident response.
• Partner with AI Governance to operationalize policies and guardrails, surface emerging policy questions, and support safe adoption of enterprise AI tools.
• Use lightweight automation, scripting, and integrations to remove repetitive work and occasionally help portfolio companies deploy enterprise tooling.

• You have deep hands‑on experience operating modern IT environments and are comfortable personally configuring, troubleshooting, and improving the systems you own.
• You have administered Google Workspace, device management, identity and access management, enterprise SaaS, and endpoint or security tooling.
• You think about security as a builder, not a gatekeeper - creating practical guardrails that protect the business while enabling teams to move quickly.
• You are highly fluent with modern enterprise AI tools, use AI actively in your own work, and understand the security and governance considerations around deployment.
• You can use lightweight scripting, APIs, workflow automation, and SaaS‑native integrations to solve operational problems without being a software engineer.
• You've worked in small, scrappy environments where you owned a broad technology surface area and reduced reliance on outside providers.
• You communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences and make employees feel supported while setting sensible standards and boundaries.
• You possess a proactive, solution-oriented, problem‑solving mindset -- "I'll figure it out," and thrive in a small, fast-paced, results‑oriented environment.

Base Salary Range

The target salary range for this position is ($165,000 - $190,000), and is part of a competitive total rewards package including an annual bonus, employer-paid benefits, L&D stipend and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
