Team Select Home Care is seeking an IT Security Analyst to safeguard information systems and data through audits, security protocols, and incident response. The role reports to the IT Systems Manager and collaborates with leadership to implement controls and upgrades.

The ideal candidate will perform regular security assessments, stay current with threats, and educate staff on security best practices while helping expand security coverage across territories.

Formación

• Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Security Analyst or similar role.
• Experience with security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, Microsoft O365, log management, and content filtering.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., HIPAA, ISO 27001, PCI).
• Security+ Certifications and/or vocational training (preferred).
• Strong understanding of information security principles, techniques, and protocols.
• Willingness to grow and develop new skills to support growth into new territories.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities
• Implement and maintain security protocols and procedures to protect information systems and data
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious behavior and identify potential threats
• Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches
• Stay up to date on the latest intelligence, including hackers' methodologies, to anticipate security breaches
• Develop strategies to handle security incidents and coordinate responses to security breaches
• Educate staff on information security through training and awareness programs
• Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause
• Recommend and install appropriate tools and countermeasures to prevent cyber-attacks
