Procom is seeking an IT Security Analyst focusing on Cloud Security for a 7-month engagement. The role is remote with managers based in Dallas, Texas, and requires advisory work across the enterprise on cloud security and US regulatory compliance.

You will conduct threat risk assessments, guide business lines on secure-by-design practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security architectures. Prior experience in security evaluations and regulatory frameworks is essential.

IT Security Analyst, Cloud Security:On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an IT Security Analyst, Cloud Security for a 7-month role. This position is a remote position with managers based out of Dallas, Texas.Job Description:This role involves providing security advisory services across the enterprise, focusing on cloud security and US regulatory compliance. The IT Security Analyst will support secure-by-design initiatives and guide business lines on best practices to adhere to the bank’s security standards.Responsibilities:• Conduct Threat Risk Assessments and perform security advisory work on applications and infrastructure.• Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to business lines and IT support functions.• Conduct Risk Management activities and provide Quality Assurance on Threat Risk Assessments.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust security architectures.• Evaluate existing security solutions and propose enhancements or new designs.• Ensure alignment with industry best practices, compliance standards, and organizational security policies.• Identify security weaknesses, vulnerabilities, and gaps in existing systems and recommend remediation strategies.Mandatory Skills:• 5+ years of hands-on experience in performing security assessments on various platforms.• 3+ years of experience with Threat Risk Assessments and Threat modeling for applications.• 2+ years of experience in security solution architecture and software development.• 3+ years of experience reviewing and interpreting vulnerability reporting.• Strong understanding of US regulatory regulations and practices.Nice-to-Have Skills:• Prior experience using ServiceNow platform.• Basic knowledge of cloud technologies and cloud security (GCP or Azure or AWS).• Security engineering, security architecture, and/or security risk-based certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC).• Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks e.g., NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, PCI DSS.Assignment Length:This is a 7-month contract with the possibility of extension.Start Date:ASAP.Assignment Location:Dallas, Texas, United States; this position is remote.This posting is for an existing vacancy.Procom provides Basic Life/AD&D insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability, and EAP at no cost to eligible employees after a waiting period.
