Job summary

Cambridge is seeking a Security Analyst to join the IT Security Team, focusing on Azure cloud environments. This role targets professionals with a strong foundation in cloud security who want to contribute to Cambridge's cybersecurity framework.

You will configure and operate Azure security services, collaborate with IT and security teams, manage vulnerabilities, monitor threats, and coordinate incident response across the organization.

Qualifications

• Azure Security Engineer Associate certification or similar Azure-focused credentials.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security and security operations.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Entra ID and Azure Key Vault.
• Knowledge of Kusto Query Language (KQL), SIEM workflows, incident response and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Security Analyst to join our IT Security Team, specializing in Azure cloud environments. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in cloud security who are eager to make a meaningful impact on our cybersecurity framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Azure Security Operations Configure, operate, and manage Azure security services such as Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Key Vault to protect cloud assets and data.
• Collaboration & Project Support Partner with IT and Information Security teams on Azure-specific initiatives to ensure secure and scalable cloud deployments.
• Vulnerability Management Identify and remediate vulnerabilities within Azure environments, ensuring timely and effective risk mitigation.
• Threat Monitoring & Incident Detection Monitor Azure threat management systems to detect and assess potential security incidents or breaches.
• Incident Investigation & Response Investigate, analyze, and elevate security incidents related to Azure environments, coordinating with cross-functional teams for swift resolution.

What We Are Looking For

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (or similar Azure-focused certifications)
• Additional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (or similar Azure-focused certifications)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security, security operations, or a related cybersecurity role.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Entra ID, and Azure Key Vault.
