Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking an IT Audit, Cybersecurity & Risk Experienced Consultant (HITRUST) to join the Risk Advisory practice. Engage with clients to assess IT risk, craft controls, and improve governance and compliance across cybersecurity, IT strategy, and operations.

Location includes Southfield, MI with opportunities across a fast-growing firm; salary ranges reflect market rates for IT risk professionals. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 year degree and 1 year of experience.
• Preferred: bachelor's in management/computer information systems, computer science, accounting information systems, computer engineering, industrial engineering, or related program.
• Certifications preferred: CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA, or CPA.
• 1+ year(s) IT audit or cybersecurity experience; HITRUST engagements preferred; cloud audit experience a plus.
• Strong analytical, technical, problem solving, communication, collaboration, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with client executives to identify and manage financial and operational risks in IT systems.
• Develop knowledge of clients’ businesses and industries through direct client interaction.
• Provide strategic advice and assist in implementing new processes and controls addressing key risks.
• Assess and optimize IT risk across cybersecurity, governance, compliance and business continuity.
• Draft executive summaries and reports in line with internal audit methodologies.
• Build relationships and deliver superior client service; stay current with technology environments and tools.
