Job summary

Church & Dwight is seeking an IT QA Manager to lead the enterprise Quality Assurance function for the IT portfolio. The role collaborates with PMO, Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, Global Quality, and vendors to drive scalable quality practices and automation.

The position is hybrid in the United States (based in Ewing, NJ) and focuses on governance, continuous improvement, and advancing AI-enabled testing within Agile delivery to ensure regulatory compliance and high delivery quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field required.
• 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Validation, IT Delivery, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading global teams, including offshore and managed service resources.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, testing, validation, compliance, and change management processes.
• Experience with vendor management, resource planning, budget forecasting, and governance.

Job Summary

Church & Dwight is seeking an IT QA Manager to join our team. The IT QA Manager is responsible for leading the enterprise Quality Assurance function, including strategy, governance, resource management, vendor partnerships, quality compliance, and testing transformation initiatives. This role oversees a globally distributed team and managed service partners supporting the IT portfolio while ensuring delivery quality, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

About the Role

The position partners closely with PMO, Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, Global Quality, Business stakeholders, and external vendors to drive scalable quality practices, optimize resource utilization, manage budgets, support enterprise delivery initiatives, and advance automation, Agile, AI, and digital transformation capabilities across the organization.

Work Environment

Hybrid: This is a hybrid role based in Ewing, NJ and requires in-person attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work options on Mondays and Fridays.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise IT Quality Assurance strategy, roadmap, governance framework, and continuous improvement initiatives to support business and IT objectives.
• Lead, develop, and manage a globally distributed QA organization, including onshore, offshore, and managed service resources, through effective hiring, onboarding, performance management, mentoring, and succession planning.
• Manage QA resource capacity, demand forecasting, and portfolio planning to ensure optimal support for project delivery, operational activities, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead quality assurance activities supporting application lifecycle management and change management processes, including enhancements, upgrades, patches, releases, system implementations, and production support changes, ensuring appropriate testing, risk assessment, validation, and business readiness prior to deployment.
• Manage QA operating budgets, software licensing, vendor spend, and investment planning while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and maximize return on investment.
• Partner with PMO, Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, Global Quality, and business stakeholders to support successful delivery of enterprise programs, digital transformation initiatives, system implementations, and M&A activities.
• Provide governance and oversight for Solution Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC), computerized system validation, compliance, audit readiness, risk-based testing, and quality processes across regulated and non-regulated systems.
• Drive enterprise adoption and optimization of Agile delivery practices, Azure DevOps (ADO), reporting, dashboards, integrations, and work management processes to improve visibility, execution, and collaboration.
• Lead quality engineering, automation, AI, and innovation initiatives by evaluating emerging technologies, implementing process improvements, and expanding intelligent testing capabilities across the IT landscape.
• Develop and present executive dashboards, quality metrics, operational reports, business cases, and strategic recommendations to leadership while serving as the primary quality assurance liaison across the IT organization.
• Drive consistency in usage of templates for testing artifacts including test plans, test cases, test execution, and summary reports to ensure repeatability and compliance with standards Manage diverse teams based in the US and collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams internal and external.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational development skills.
• 3+ years’ experience leading Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Validation, and testing transformation initiatives required.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks, test automation strategies, and quality engineering best practices.
• Experience identifying and implementing automation opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled testing solutions, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and emerging quality engineering technologies.
• Experience evaluating, building, or supporting AI-powered agents, workflow automation, and intelligent process improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to drive innovation, continuous improvement, and adoption of emerging technologies across the organization.

Education and Experience Required

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field required.
• 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Validation, IT Delivery, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading global teams, including offshore and managed service resources.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, testing, validation, compliance, and change management processes.
• Experience supporting enterprise application portfolios, system implementations, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience with vendor management, resource planning, budget forecasting, and operational governance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in regulated environments and supporting audit readiness, validation, and quality compliance activities preferred.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, ServiceNow, or similar enterprise delivery platforms preferred.
• Experience working in regulated environment (SOX, GDPR, CCPA, FDA) is preferred.
• Experience in supporting a maturing organization or CPG industry is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $110,900– $157,900. This position is also eligible for a bonus. As a Church & Dwight US employee, you (and eligible dependents, as applicable) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid vacation and sick time, and Paid Parental Leave. U.S. employees are entitled to paid holidays, floating holidays, and vacation days starting in their first year of employment depending on hire date. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity.
