Job summary

Ahlstrom is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead initiatives at our US plant, owning scope, schedule, budget, and governance to drive successful outcomes.

You will guide cross-functional teams and vendors, ensure quality and regulatory compliance, and translate technical concepts into tangible business results on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the lifecycle of IT projects from scope Definition through deployment and review.
• Control scope and schedule with detailed plans, schedules, and resource models.
• Communicate clearly to keep cross-functional teams, leaders, and vendors aligned.
• Mitigate risk by maintaining risk registers and addressing blockers early.
• Manage resources and budget, tracking spend and coordinating internal and external resources.
• Ensure quality and governance per architecture, cybersecurity, and AMAR requirements.

About the Opportunity -

Lead your own projects and keep delivery aligned to agreed scope, schedule, budget, and targets—while guiding teams and stakeholders toward successful outcomes.

What You'll Do -

• Lead the lifecycle. Own IT projects from scope definition through deployment and review.
• Control scope and schedule. Build detailed plans, schedules, WBS, and resource models.
• Communicate clearly. Keep cross-functional teams, leaders, and vendors aligned.
• Mitigate risk. Maintain risk registers and act early on issues and blockers.
• Manage resources and budget. Track spend and coordinate internal and third-party resources.
• Ensure quality and governance. Meet Ahlstrom architecture, cybersecurity, and AMAR requirements.
