Job summary

Gunnison in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide overarching leadership and serve as the single point of accountability for contractual, staffing, status, and issue-resolution matters. You will monitor activities, manage schedules, and drive efficient project execution.

The role requires 7+ years of staff and deliverables management, a PMP certification, and a BS in IT/CS or related field.

Qualifications

• 7 years of exp managing staff and deliverables similar in size, complexity, and nature.
• PMP Certification is required.
• Bachelor of Science Information Technology/Systems, Computer Science, Business Organizational Change Management, or related field.
• Prior government experience is desired.

Salary: $140,000 - $157,000/year

Description

• This position is contingent upon a future opening with Gunnison.
• Provides overarching leadership, serves as the single point of accountability for all contractual, staffing, status, and issue-resolution matters. Monitors the status of activities, including scheduled deliverables and tasks. Facilitates efficient project execution, develops project schedules, proactive stakeholder communication, and issue resolution.

Hybrid, Washington, DC.

Requirements

• 7 years of exp managing staff and deliverables similar in size, complexity, and nature. To be considered recent, 5 of the 7 years experience must have been gained within the past 5 years.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Bachelor of Science Information Technology/Systems, Computer Science, Business Organizational Change Management, or related field.
• Prior government experience is desired.

Clearance Requirement

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

The salary range for this position depends upon multiple factors including location, the individual's knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and contract-specific budget constraints and organizational requirements.
