Job summary

Stelumar Advanced Manufacturing Inc. is seeking an IT Project Manager to own IT deployments across ERP, MES, and enterprise apps. You will coordinate software development, systems integration, and security initiatives in a hands-on, build-and-lead role.

You will partner with engineering, development, and operations to turn complex requirements into scalable solutions, applying established PMO practices in digital manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field or equivalent working experience.
• Active PMP/PMI certification.
• 7+ years as an IT project manager leading large-scale projects through full delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, plan, monitor/control and close IT projects spanning months to multi-year timelines.
• Track changes to scope and schedule using verification techniques.
• Communicate objectives and status to team members and stakeholders.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Manage integrators and hold them accountable for deliverables.
• Provide business and technical teams with feedback and guidance.
• Produce project management documentation: PMPs, schedules, communication plans.

What we offer

This role offers the opportunity to help shape the digital backbone of an advanced manufacturing start-up, with a particular focus on scalability and efficiency . The IT Project Manager will have full ownership of IT applications deployments , leading multiple workstreams independently and incorporating input from software development, systems integration, and application security. This is a hands-on, build-and-lead role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, partners closely with engineering , development, and operations, and enjoys turning complex requirements into secure, scalable solutions that power the future of manufacturing. The ideal candidate has robust experience scoping requirements for ERP , manufacturing execution applications, enterprise applications, and AI initiatives . The ideal candidate has experience using an established PMO methodology in a digital and manufacturing context .

What you’ll do

• Initiate, Plan, Monitor/Control and Close assigned projects ranging from a few months to multi-phased, multi-year implementations, across the Stelumar enterprise.
• Track and manage changes to the project scope and project schedule, using appropriate verification techniques and tools.
• C ommunicate project objectives and status to all team members and project stakeholders.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Troubleshoot problems and technical issues that come up during projects, maintain accurate defect - and issue - tracking logs.
• Effectively manage integrators , holding them accountable for the deliverables they are contracted to produce.
• Report and upscale to management as needed.
• Provide both business and technical teams with feedback, encouragement and advice.
• Guide and assist project team members in identifying and estimating their tasks.
• Produce and maintain a variety of project management documentation including: Project Management Plans
• Project Schedules
• Communication Plans
• Cost/Benefit Analysis
• Issue list
• Quality Reviews
• Status Reports
• Lessons Learned Reports
• Change management documentation
• Ensure that all required documentation is created with quality, signed off appropriately and stored correctly.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field or equivalent working experience .
• Active PMP/PMI certification .
• 7+ years as an IT project manager leading large-scale projects in a medium-large company through the entire delivery lifecycle , some of which should have been spent in an internal IT department context .
• P rior experience working in one or many of the following roles: BA, SA, Dev, QA
• Hands-on SDLC experience .
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (documentation, presentation, meeting facilitation) .
• Strong Vendor management skills and experience .
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to create and maintain strong working relationships across the enterprise.
• Experience managing Project Budget/Project Approval Requests .
• Strong technical literacy and systems experience .
• Willingness to multi-task and be flexible to take on varied responsibilities.
• Pragmatic outlook with the ability to right-size effort .
• Strong project management and change management skillsets .

Bonus Points

• Experience in one of Finance, Sales/Marketing, Homebuilding, Advanced Manufacturing or JDE/ Odoo , Manufacturing execution, Logistics and distribution
• Experience with integrating AI solutions and deploying automated solutions
• Experience working with ADO One PPM tool or similar
