The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of PM or implementation experience, a BS degree in a related field, and strong ERP and Power Platform/SharePoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, CS, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint to drive automation and collaboration.

Summary

We are seeking an IT Project Manager to support the rollout of company-wide systems and processes across multiple farm locations. This role blends project management, system implementation, documentation, and end-user training. The ideal candidate is self-directed, hands-on, and comfortable working directly with project stakeholder teams and external customers and vendors in a fast-paced, implementation-driven environment.

This position requires travel to farm locations and close collaboration with software vendors, company customers, internal stakeholders, and end users to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Implementation

• Lead and support system implementation projects from planning through go-live and stabilization.
• Manage 5-6 concurrent or completed projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and dependencies are tracked and communicated.
• Act as the liaison between internal teams and external implementation partners.
• Track module readiness, identify risks or delays, and escalation issues as needed.
• Present project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered within scope and budgetary constraints

Systems & Process Support

• Support implementation of custom-developed systems and third-party software
• Work with implementation partners to validate system functionality against business needs.
• Understand how systems are used across different locations and industries and ensure consistent adoption.
• Assist with defining and refining operational processes tied to system use.

Documentation & Training

• Document end-user workflows and system usage.
• Create process documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
• Conduct or support base-level training for internal staff.
• Help implement new processes and ensure teams understand the "why" and "how".

On-Site & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Travel to farm locations as projects require
• Work hands-on with internal teams, providing guidance and support during implementations.
• Gather feedback from end users and translate into system or process improvements.
• Bring people together across departments to drive alignment and project success.

Qualifications

3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in Project management, System implementation, Consulting (technology, operations, or financial systems preferred), and/or Experience managing or supporting multiple system or process implementation projects.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong ability to self-manage, prioritize work, and operate independently.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to ask the right questions.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and evolving project environments.
• Strong communication skills-able to document, present, and explain complex concepts.
• Ability to work hands-on in operational settings ("boots on the ground").
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying issues and solutions.
• Consulting background, especially in system or financial system implementations.
• Exposure to operational or manufacturing environments.
• Strong ERP system knowledge and experience supporting enterprise business applications.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint to drive process automation and collaboration.
• Understanding of data systems, reporting, and system integrations.
• Basic networking knowledge with the ability to support technology troubleshooting and cross-functional IT initiatives preferred.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders.

The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

The position is primarily an office-based position with no known significant hazards. This role requires regular travel to farm locations; travel volume will vary based on active projects. Systems are implemented company-wide, with projects typically focused on one location at a time.
