Role

The IT Project Manager is responsible for driving end to end project life cycles, from Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control, and Implementation.This person will be managing back end technology projects in addition to IT Security, information systems, and platform deliverables within the transportation industry.The IT PM will be responsible for the project charter and schedule, scope definition and management, budgets, deliverables and dependencies/change management while ensuring quality control throughout project lifecycle.Provide direction and guidance for a wide array of activities associated with project planning and management to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to client specifications. This role will collaborate with technology providers, IT, Operations, Finance and ITS.The ideal person can communicate effectively to leadership and executive management and should have knowledge of areas such as billing and revenue, order-to-cash and AWS clous services.

Job Duties:

• Oversee and drive end to end project life cycles, from Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control, and Implementation within technical areas such as enterprise platforms, IT infrastructure, IT security, information systems and cloud services (AWS).
• Design, development, implementation, and successful embedding of all change program/project deliverables aligned to the strategic roadmap and required delivery outcomes.
• Build and lead project teams ensuring quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle accomplishing project objectives by coordinating and evaluating project activities accurately.
• Works to identify and acquire participation from required cross-functional core team members with mentorship from strategic business partners or senior staff.
• Understand the scope of programs as defined by the business requirements and budget process in addition to producing accurate project documentation.
• Participate in key planning achievements and acts as a guide for the core program team from initiation through execution and completion in addition to planning for and managing project dependencies.
• Track and run the program schedule and task details included in the program plan. Analyze the actual performance against the plan and adjusts consistent with plan objectives including risks and issues.
• Develop and monitor deployment schedule, strategies, and tools to support the implementation of programs in the field through trials and controlled customer deployments.
• Run projects reporting status, tracking delays, and making required adjustments.
• Manage and administrate 3 rd parties and technology providers, contracts & agreements.

Education & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Bilingual in English & Spanish is a must
• 5+ years of end to end project management experience within technology and systems/platform implementations (Initiation, Planning, Budgeting, Execution, Monitoring & Control and Implementation)
• Must have experience within the transportation industry and SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentations and executive reporting
• Must have experience managing 3 rd party vendors
• Demonstrated ability to identify dependencies and risks, and when to escalate problematic scenarios
• Must have proven success managing end to end project life cycles within Agile & Waterfall environments

Pluses:

• Project Mgmt certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, or equivalents) are highly desired
