Job summary

EmergencyMD in Houston seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives across our U.S. operations, partnering with Operations, Engineering, Customer Service, Maintenance, HSSEQ, and Operational Excellence to deliver projects on time and within budget.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in logistics, manufacturing, industrial, chemical, terminal, or similar environments.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and managing vendors and third-party partners.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise applications, systems integrations, reporting platforms, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with cross-functional business leaders to identify and deliver technology-driven process improvements.

  • Coordinate internal teams, vendors, consultants, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture standards.

Position Summary

This role partners with Operations, Engineering, Customer Service, Maintenance, HSSEQ, and Operational Excellence teams to deliver IT projects from planning through implementation while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading IT projects, business systems implementations, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in logistics, manufacturing, industrial, chemical, terminal, or similar environments preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and managing vendors and third-party partners.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise applications, systems integrations, reporting platforms, and cybersecurity best practices.
