Job description

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a IT Project Manager to join their team! This position is located in Chicago, Illinois.

Duties:

• Manage multiple IT, Infrastructure, and operation projects
• Take accountabilityfor on-time and on-budget deliverables
• Collaborate with other project managers to ensure consistent application of project management disciplines and methodologies
• Coordinate project activities by leveraging team members across various enterprise areas, vendors, external agencies, and partners
• Document and actively manage project dependencies, issues, and risks through resolution
• Prepare and deliver regular progress updates, including risks and issues, to department leadership and sponsors
• Scope, estimate, and plan new IT, Infrastructure, and projects
• Track, manage, report, and forecast project labor hours and financials
• Oversee technology acquisitions by working with procurement and vendors to ensure purchase orders, deliveries, and invoicing align with the project schedule

Desired Skills/Experience:

• 5+ years of related work experience
• Proven success in managing multiple concurrent IT projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Visio, and PPM tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with various stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Reliable and punctual attendance is a critical requirement of the position

The approximate pay range for this position is between $29.00 and $42.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
