Orange County Government is seeking an experienced IT professional to manage and implement complex business applications for a 24/7 environment. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining high standards of service.

Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects. Performs a full range of professional and senior-level technical duties in areas where precedents are not clearly defined. Coordinates programming staff work efforts.
Work is performed with independence and initiative under the general supervision of the Enterprise IT Manager. Performance is reviewed through observations, conferences, reports and achievement of desired results.
The selected candidate will be required to support County applications that operate on a 24/7/365 basis. Accordingly, the participation and oversight in on-call duties and availability for after-hours support will be expected.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or other closely related field and five years progressively responsible programming experience and systems analysis experience. Experience must include two years of supervisory experience with project management and implementation responsibility.
Application development experience is essential with preference of candidates with programming applications using .NET technologies.
