The Governor's Finance Office, Office of Project Management, is seeking an experienced professional to join the Reports Team supporting the CORE.NV Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation project and ongoing production support. This position will work collaboratively with State employees, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to analyze business processes and design, develop, and support enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. Responsibilities include translating business requirements into scalable reporting solutions; developing and optimizing reports, datasets, and data models; performing data validation, reconciliation, testing, and root cause analysis; and supporting reporting modernization, deployment, and release management activities. The position will ensure compliance with enterprise BI governance and development standards, maintain technical documentation and reporting standards, and communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders. The successful candidate will also provide reporting and data support to other CORE.NV Project and Production Support teams, including human resources, fiscal, procurement, budget, grants, security/configuration, interfaces/integrations, and testing. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering enterprise-level BI solutions using complex data models, SQL, Power BI, and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake. Experience with tools such as JIRA, the Atlassian Suite, or ServiceNow is desirable. Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to adapt to evolving technologies and business needs, are essential.
Information Technology (IT) Professionals analyze, develop, implement, maintain, and modify computer operations, systems, networks, databases, applications, and/or information security. Incumbents may perform duties in one or more IT specialization areas depending on the needs of the agency.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, management information systems, or closely related field and three years of professional IT experience relevant to the duties of the position which may include computer operations, systems administration, network administration, database administration, applications analysis and development, and/or information security, one year of which was at the journey level; OR one year of relevant experience as an IT Professional II in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.

State Holidays The holiday schedule for State employees is established by the Legislature.
When January 1, June 19, July 4, November 11, or December 25 falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday is the observed legal holiday. If these days fall on Sunday, the following Monday is the observed holiday. Eligibility for holiday pay is covered by the provisions of NAC 284.255
