Job summary

Bank of America N.A. is seeking a skilled IT professional for incident management and production support.

The role focuses on proactive monitoring, troubleshooting complex application problems, and maintaining comprehensive documentation and runbooks. You will own cross‑platform issue resolution, collaborate with CIO and infrastructure teams, and contribute to successful deployments and disaster recovery tests.

Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, MIS, IT Management, or related field.
3 years of experience in IT roles with at least 3 years in each of the listed areas.
Relational databases including Oracle and SQL Server.
Data query/diagnosis for debugging in SQL.
Critical thinking for troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
Experience with logs, error messages, and metrics and understanding system dependencies.
Familiarity with production-ready software using Web, Cloud, and Hadoop technologies.

Responsibilities

Incident management and proper problem follow-up.
Proactively monitor the production environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve application problems including job failures and feed issues.
Document and improve support policies and procedures.
Support releases, implementations, upgrades and changes in the environment.
Own issue resolution across platforms to ensure continuity and quality.
Automate scripts addressing critical business needs and maintain knowledge base.
