Job summary

Civica Rx is seeking a Mid-Level Network Engineer to support and secure our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility’s IT and OT networks. The role requires hands-on work with FortiGate firewalls, Cisco switches, Meraki wireless, and core infrastructure including Windows Server, Linux, VMware, NetApp, Veeam, and TrueNAS.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of hands-on network engineering experience.
• FortiGate firewalls, Cisco switches and Meraki wireless experience.
• Windows and Linux server administration and networking tools.
• VMware ESXi, vCenter, NSX and virtual networking experience.
• NetApp and/or TrueNAS storage systems; Veeam backup/recovery familiarity.
• TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, and security fundamentals.
• OT networks experience; GMP/GxP change-control familiarity.
• Visio or similar for network diagrams; ITIL processes knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize IT and OT network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WLAN, routing, switching, VPN connectivity.
• Support Meraki wireless networks and RF tuning.
• Ensure high uptime for manufacturing systems including OT devices.
• Support Windows Server and Linux related network services.
• Implement IT/OT network segmentation.
• Configure FortiGate firewall policies, NAT, VPNs.
• Assist with regulated manufacturing network isolation.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity on security standards.
• Operate VMware environments and storage integration.
• Follow GMP/GxP validated change controls.
