Job summary

Synergy America is seeking an IT Manager in Lawrenceville, GA to lead the development, implementation, and operations of a departmental IT unit. The role requires directing staff, coordinating projects, and advising leadership on technology strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and five years of progressively responsible information technology experience.
• Strong leadership and accountability with ability to build relationships with internal/external partners.
• Experience presenting data and insights to technical and non-technical leaders, employees, and business partners.
• Robust program management skills including financial analysis, benchmarking, and vendor management.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff to include prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring staff are trained; ensuring policies are followed.
• Coordinates work efforts and manages flow of information; prepares reports and confidential/technical documents; provides research on special projects.
• Participates in special projects, serves on committees, and/or training sessions.
• Manages information systems and technology projects, infrastructure, operations, and resources; plans, coordinates, budgets, and evaluates programs and contracts.
• Advises department leadership, develops policies and standards; collaborates with other IT sections to meet organizational goals.
• Prepares reports, RFPs, budgets; monitors progress and challenges; manages capital and operating budgets.
