Job summary

Amazon is expanding its Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) team and seeks an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead a multi-location group of technical professionals. You will hire, train, and develop staff, collaborate with leadership, and guide day-to-day IT support across facilities.

You will ensure OSHA safety compliance, drive continuous improvements in IT solutions, lead infrastructure builds, manage SLAs, and oversee equipment inventory while traveling up to 30% to support Amazon

Qualifications

• 5+ years of developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations.
• 2+ years of leading technology teams as an information technology operations manager.
• Bachelor's degree, or 4+ years of professional or military experience.
• Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration.

• Oversee management of equipment and parts inventory.
• Create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs.
• Travel up to 30%.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations experience
• 2+ years of leading technology teams as a information technology operations manager experience
• Bachelor's degree, or 4+ years of professional or military experience
• Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of hardware architectures
• Experience with system management tools and client/server environments

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
