Job summary

Teachers Federal Credit Union is seeking an IT Manager for Lending System Applications to lead development and support of the Lending platform and its integrations. You will manage a team of analysts and contractors, collaborate with lenders and vendors, and ensure timely delivery of IT projects across POS/LOS platforms.

The role requires extensive lending operations experience, strong SQL skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or eight years’ lending platform experience required.
  • FISERV – Loan Director/Velocity LOS knowledge preferred.
  • Experience in Auto Lending process and underwriting strategy.
  • Minimum four years managing lending operations.
  • Minimum five years IT project and platform management experience.
  • Strong SQL/database experience required (MS SQL Server or Oracle).
  • Scripting experience such as Python, Perl, Shell or Batch preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and support of the Lending IT platform and related integrations.
  • Collaborate with business teams and vendors to facilitate requirements and delivery.
  • Manage lending IT development projects including POS and LOS platforms.
  • Coordinate with partners to establish SLAs and assess deliverables quality.
  • Oversee vendor teams and ensure alignment with lending business goals.
  • Handle access control, parameter and pricing configuration for lending systems.
  • Document requirements with Business SMEs and leaders to build backlogs.
  • Plan projects with cross-functional teams and track delivery and risks.

Summary

The IT Manager Lending System Applications leads the Technology development and support of the Lending platform and integration. The role requires managing a team of analysts and contractors supporting the technology for Core lending Platform.

Education And/or Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or a minimum of eight years’ lending platform experience required

Job Responsibilities
  • Builds member-centric development approach to track all the business needs, handle the service requests and production incidents.
  • Champions the development process through collaborating with multiple business teams and Lending platform vendors to facilitate requirement gathering, design, build, test, implementation and platform support.
  • Manages the development, design and execution of Lending IT development projects including POS and LOS platforms
  • Coordinates with Lending partners and platform vendors to establish SLAs, assess quality of the deliverables from vendors
  • Manages vendor team deliverables quality and hold accountable to ensure Lending business interests are protected
  • Manages various Lending platform vendor integrations, user access and permission provisioning, product parameter and pricing configuration
  • Works closely with Business SMEs and Lending business leaders to document and define the requirements to create the backlog of improvements/enhancements
  • Coordinates with cross functional teams to plan projects, track delivery, communicate project status, risks and issues
  • Publishes Weekly Status reports on the various initiatives, publish the platform monthly metrics for Governance & Steering committee meetings
  • Adheres to IT standards, Compliance, Internal / External audits and SDLC process
  • Perform all duties inherent in the role of manager

The good faith range for this position is $120,500 - $150,750 per year. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.

All candidates will be subject to a background check, credit check, and drug test to determine employment eligibility.
