Job summary

Q-Storage in Las Vegas is seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee all aspects of the company's technology infrastructure and operations. You will lead a team of IT professionals, develop IT policies, and ensure system reliability and security.

You will manage networks, cloud resources, backups, and disaster recovery while collaborating with other departments to improve workflows and drive technology-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT management role.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, security protocols, cloud computing and data backup systems.
• Experience with project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security, reliability and efficiency of our systems.
• Manage a team of IT professionals including hiring, training and performance evaluations
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Ensure data backups are regularly performed and disaster recovery plans are in place
• Keep up-to-date with new technologies and make recommendations for system improvements or upgrades
• Collaborate with other departments to identify their technology needs and provide solutions to improve their workflows
• Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software and support services
