About the Role

NetCentric is seeking an experienced IT Manager to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in Fairbanks, Alaska. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing IT systems that directly support NOAA’s mission-critical operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and able to lead both technical efforts and team coordination in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

  • Experience supporting secure environments and working with risk management or compliance frameworks.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a mission-focused environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, Security+, or cloud platform credentials.
  • Prior experience supporting federal agencies, scientific operations, or other mission-critical environments.
  • Familiarity with standards such as NIST, FISMA, or FedRAMP.
