Job summary

Contact Government Services, LLC seeks a Litigation Support Technician to join the United States Attorney's Office. The role provides technical and analytical support for litigation information systems, ensuring availability and security across hardware and software assets.

You will coordinate support services, perform testing and maintenance, and deliver user training to ensure effective litigation workflows and data integrity.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Background investigation and government security clearance.
  • Experience with Litigation Support principles, methods, and practices.
  • Experience with Litigation Support systems development concepts.
  • Experience with performance monitoring principles and methods.
  • Experience with quality assurance principles.
  • Familiarity with technical documentation methods and procedures.
  • Familiarity with systems security methods and procedures.
  • Oral and written communication techniques.
  • Experience with Litigation support databases (IPRO Eclipse, Relativity).
  • Experience with discovery processing hardware and software (Law Pre-Discovery, Nuix).
  • Familiarity with quality control of incoming data per ESI specs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain district's litigation support equipment inventory.
  • Enforce security policies and ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.

IT Litigation Support

Contact Government Services is looking for a Litigation Support Technician to work at the United States Attorney's Office. As a Litigation Support Technician for CGS, you will be responsible for providing technical and analytical assistance involving Litigation Support of the United States Attorney's office.

Employment Type: Full Time, Mid level

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate litigation support services (including trial preparation and presentation) in response to customer needs, work directly or in conjunction with the district's designated "Litigation Support Coordinator," install, configure, and maintain litigation support equipment; develop standards and procedures for applications; and coordinate efforts with other agencies involved in litigation team activities.
  • Perform testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, and maintenance of litigation support resources used for the transmission of information in data, voice, and/or video format.
  • Ensure systems availability, functionality, integrity, and efficiency.
  • Install new or modified litigation support hardware and software.
  • Resolve hardware/software interface and interoperability problems.
  • Maintain and control the district's litigation support equipment inventory.
  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data through planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure litigation support systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.
  • Promote awareness of security issues among management and employees.
  • Implement programs to ensure users are aware of, understand, and adhere to systems security policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer support services including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and training in response to user requirements.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems in response to customer-reported incidents; install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain customer hardware and software; and provide customer training, including orientation for new users.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a stringent Background Investigation and obtain the required Government Security clearance.
  • Experience with Litigation Support principles, methods, and practices.
  • Experience with Litigation Support systems development concepts.
  • Experience with performance monitoring principles and methods.
  • Experience with quality assurance principles.
  • Familiarity with technical documentation methods and procedures.
  • Familiarity with systems security methods and procedures.
  • Oral and written communication techniques.
  • Experience with Litigation support databases working with load files such as IPRO Eclipse and Relativity.
  • Experience with discovery processing hardware and software such as Law Pre-Discovery and Nuix systems.
  • Familiarity with quality control of incoming data to comply with District Electronically Stored Information (ESI) Specifications.
