Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking an Electronics Engineer with 6+ years of experience to design and validate circuits for automotive LED lighting. You will develop schematics, PCB layouts, and prototypes while translating requirements into specifications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, run simulations and tests, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. This contract role supports production during launches and ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, especially DC-DC converters and filters.
  • Experience with Altium and PCB design.
  • Understanding of embedded systems and microcontrollers.
  • Familiarity with testing tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators).
  • Knowledge of CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, and other protocols.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, simulate, and validate electronic circuits and systems for automotive LED lighting applications.
  • Translate customer requirements into technical specifications and design reviews.
  • Create schematics, PCB layouts, and prototypes.
  • Perform simulations, testing, and validation of designs.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and system issues and support manufacturing during launches.

  • Prepare technical documentation and reports.
  • Continuously improve designs for performance, cost, and reliability.
