The Information Technology (IT) Manager is responsible for the overall management and security of information technology infrastructure and IT related components and services. This includes ensuring hardware, software, cloud-based applications, and other technology that is up-to-date, compatible, secure, and scalable with business needs and comply with current legal and regulatory requirements. This includes managing telecommunications services, business operations tech management, and other technological infrastructure.
The qualified candidate drives results ensuring that end users have smooth experience with their workstation set-up that include understanding how to use technology and work closely with staff to understand gaps in knowledge. The qualified candidate also provides effective training to close the gaps in knowledge in technology utilization and cyber security awareness.
The IT Manager must possess knowledge in business management, strategic planning, resource allocation, analysis and must have experience in directing and coordinating operational activities of complex technology department while demonstrating effective leadership, supervision and management

Education and/or Experience:
Working knowledge of HIPAA requirements as they apply to electronic protected health information and end-user devices.

Language Skills: Able to read and comprehend at a college level; able to communicate professionally in person and in writing.
Mathematical Skills: Must possess basic mathematical skills to complete the responsibilities of the position, and includes ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Must be familiar with common fractions, decimals, computer rate, ratio, prepare and interpret graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Apply logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative approaches, solutions, or conclusions in order to effectively resolve problems. Strong written and oral Communication Skills.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of accounting software, database software, internet software, Microsoft Office applications.
