Job summary

Eaton's Early Career Internship Program - Information Technology offers a 12-week paid internship in technology across manufacturing sites and key functional teams. You’ll learn from leaders, gain hands-on experience with data, AI, and digital tools, and contribute to powering innovation in a global company.

Interns collaborate with operations teams, participate in a core learning series, and may be considered for the IT Development Program upon graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled or have a bachelor's or master's in a STEM field or business major.
• Minimum overall GPA of 2.8.
• Must be geographically flexible to relocate within the United States.
• Eaton will not sponsor CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or any visa sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities

• Work on high-impact IT projects within manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality and IT teams.
• Support the implementation and scaling of digital tools to improve production execution, shop-floor visibility, traceability and connectivity.
• Build or improve data pipelines, models and analytics across business processes.
• Test applications, workflows, integrations or AI-enabled capabilities to solve defined business problems.
