Job summary

Farmers Group Inc. is seeking an Internal Controls Testing Manager - IT to lead IT controls testing and ensure MAR/SOX compliance across our IT environment. You will manage a team of testers, coordinate with regulators, and partner with senior leadership to shape testing strategy.

The role requires a decade of IT audit experience, strong leadership, and ERP/IT security expertise. We offer a hybrid U.S. work setup with opportunities for growth and executive-level collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• Minimum 10 years IT auditing experience.
• 5 years in people management.
• Big Four or large national firm preferred.
• Certification in Auditing or Information Security domains (CISA/CISSP/CISM) preferred.
• Insurance/financial services IT knowledge preferred.
• ERP configurations: SAP, Guidewire, Coupa.
• Strong IT security, cloud knowledge, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT controls testing assignments and track progress.
• Review audit work products and memos for quality.
• Ensure MAR/SOX compliance across IT controls.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on testing strategy.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulators.
• Develop and coach IT testers and auditors.
