Job summary

Farm Credit East is seeking a Quality Assurance Internal Audit professional to strengthen our ability to provide independent, risk-based assurance across IT, operations, and governance. The role focuses on IT-focused engagements, cybersecurity controls, and governance processes to support the Audit Committee and management.

The incumbent will lead IT audit tasks, collaborate with technical resources, and maintain relevant IT certifications while contributing to the organization's overall value

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, accounting, data analytics, mathematics, or computer science.
• Minimum 3+ years of IT auditing experience.
• IT auditing certifications: CISA and CISSP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of IT-focused internal audit engagements with timely, accurate tasks.
• Perform self-review of IT work papers to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Demonstrate understanding of cybersecurity, controls, and information governance.
• Apply IT-specific audit processes and methodologies to tasks.
• Identify IT-related issues and collaborate to propose resolutions.
• Communicate IT findings effectively with audit management levels.
• Maintain IT certifications relevant to the role (e.g., CISA/CISSP).
