Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is hiring for IT Intern positions in our International Falls, MN paper mill for Summer 2027. You will assist with IT support, hardware/software issues, and help desk tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates are juniors or seniors in Computer Science, have a valid driver's license, and authorization to work in the U.S.; compensation starts at $29–$30 per hour with holiday pay and a 401(k) plan available on hire.

Qualifications

• Current pursuit of a 4-year CS degree required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Experience with help desk tasks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with help desk tasks: basic end-user support and IT issues.
• Assist with building and deploying computers and preparing them for reuse.
• Assist with network documentation and diagrams.
• Document issues and fixes accurately.
• Inventory and document IT equipment.
• Lifting and transporting IT equipment.
• Clean workstations from malware and perform basic security tasks.
• Perform other related duties as required.
