Federated Insurance is offering a full-time summer internship from June 7, 2027 to August 18, 2027. You will be exposed to tasks across the Project Life Cycle, including writing programs, conducting tests, and producing documentation. You will collaborate daily with teammates and receive coaching and feedback to support your growth.

Starting pay is $28/hour. Ideal candidates are junior/senior pursuing a four-year degree in computer science or related fields, with a 3.5+ GPA and demonstrated

• Be on track to graduate Fall 2027 or Spring 2028

• Demonstrate applied knowledge through coursework, projects, internships, or work experience
• Maintain confidentiality of business and personnel information

Responsibilities

• Work on tasks across the Project Life Cycle, including writing programs to meet requirements and testing (unit, system, regression, acceptance).

What Will You Do?

Internships are a great way to hone your skills in a professional setting. You’ll be exposed to a variety of tasks related to the main phases of the Project Life Cycle which may include writing programs that satisfy requirements, conducting unit, system, regression and acceptance testing; producing project documentation, participating in education sessions, and working with others on progress and issues related to your assigned work. Qualifications Needed

• A junior or senior student pursuing a four-year degree in computer science, management information systems, programming, engineering, or a related technology field
• Be on track to graduate in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028
• Have a minimum overall GPA of 3.5
• Demonstrate leadership, involvement outside the classroom, and strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrate applied technical knowledge through coursework, projects, internships, or work experience
• Maintain the confidentiality of business and personnel information

Starting pay is $28/hour.
