PAY RANGE: $123,600.00 – $135,000.00 Annually
POSITION: DevOps Engineer II
ROLE SUMMARY: Lead automation of Infrastructure as Code across Microsoft Azure and on‑premises environments, design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, manage Linux/Kubernetes clusters, monitor systems, and ensure reliability and security.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead infrastructure‑as‑code development using Terraform, Python, and PowerShell for scalable deployments.
- Manage Linux/Kubernetes cluster environments and container orchestration tools.
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for faster, reliable software releases.
- Deploy solutions in line with change management processes and cloud engineering standards.
- Support development teams on API integration strategy and standards.
- Monitor systems, create alerts, manage alert suppression, and reduce alert fatigue.
- Maintain infrastructure and application uptime and performance.
- Analyze operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Propose automation solutions to reduce toil and eliminate errors.
- Develop runbooks and incident playbooks across monitoring tools.
- Implement and maintain monitoring dashboards, SLIs, SLOs, error budgets.
- Ensure security against cybersecurity threats and comply with reliability, security, and cost controls.
- Operate shared cloud platform services per defined architectures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Over 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in medium to large‑scale environments.
- Proficient with Windows Server, Linux, Azure, and VMware deployments.
- Experience with Git/GitHub workflows, Terraform, Python, PowerShell, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.
- Experience with observability platforms: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk.
- Experience with database technologies: PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL.
- Strong background in automating infrastructure provisioning and application deployment.
- Experience in building observability pipelines and advanced log queries.
- Experience implementing and operating Azure‑based shared services per cloud engineering teams.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
- Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert – Required
- Kubernetes Administration – Required
- Linux Certification – Desired
