Job summary

BCforward is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex IT infrastructure initiatives within a regulated enterprise. You will plan, execute, and deliver technology programs covering network, server, storage, data center, and integration workstreams.

This role emphasizes Waterfall delivery as the primary method, with Agile capabilities for select streams. Strong cross-functional leadership, risk management, and stakeholder communication are essential to success in production-critical

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience delivering IT infrastructure projects in enterprise, industrial, or regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN networking, routing and switching, server platforms, storage (SAN/NAS), virtualization, and data center environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, business-critical setting.
• Solid expertise applying Waterfall project management methodology, including formal planning, execution, and change control.
• Demonstrated experience leading integration or migration workstreams across heterogeneous environments, including network, identity, and application consolidation.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and executive sponsors.
• Experience managing external vendors and contractors against contractual and quality commitments.
• Required: PMP certification, or active progress toward PMP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of IT infrastructure projects from initiation through completion.
• Define and manage project scope, objectives, milestones, schedules, and success criteria in partnership with Program Managers, project sponsors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within approved scope, maintaining alignment with operational and business priorities.
• Apply Waterfall project management practices as the primary delivery approach, with formal change control and documented approvals.
• Coordinate Agile delivery where iterative execution is appropriate and communicate rationale to sponsors and stakeholders.
• Oversee infrastructure workstreams: network, servers, storage, data center operations, and platform infrastructure.
• Coordinate cutover planning, hypercare, and handoff activities to minimize business disruption during transitions.
