Job summary

MCC Label is seeking an IT Infrastructure Analyst to oversee Data Center and edge server infrastructure, including maintenance of Microsoft servers, VMware, Citrix, and storage environments. You will manage backups, security, and capacity planning while supporting a distributed environment.

The role is primarily office-based or home office-based, with travel up to 25% and opportunities to contribute to scalable IT solutions in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Information Technology, Infrastructure, Systems Administration, or related field.
• Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration (user, group, policy, security).
• Hands-on VMware virtualization experience.
• Experience with enterprise backup and recovery solutions (Veeam or similar).
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, connectivity troubleshooting.
• Proven troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production support.
• Server patching, upgrades, maintenance, lifecycle management.
• Experience supporting multi-site or geographically dispersed environments.
• Strong documentation, change management, and process discipline.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• IT certifications or a related degree preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Establish system specifications by consulting with users and IT staff; analyze requirements.
• Identify infrastructure issues; provide recommendations and support project implementation.

We are seekinga highly motivated: IT Infrastructure Analyst to provide oversight and direction for Data Center and Edge server infrastructure. Also provide maintenance and enhancement of the Microsoft server and networking environment, including but not limited to Active Directory, Veeam backups, MS servers, Linux servers, SAN, Networking, VMware, and Citrix environment.

Responsibilities:

• Establish systems specifications by conferring with users and other IT staff; analyzing workflow, access, information, capacity, and security requirements.
• Proactively identify infrastructure issues and suggest recommendations for improvement. Act as an IT technical resource for technology project implementation.
• Maintain the organization’s hardware and software to the required standards for servers and desktop components.
• Ensure all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, procedures and policies.
• Provide second level user support as it relates to all IT functions, including hardware and software support. Perform complex problem determination, situation analysis, and problem resolution for all servers, and hardware issues.
• Provide day-to-day monitoring, management, tuning, user administration and backups of all server system components (Servers and Storage). Responsible for the collection and analysis of server data to facilitate performance, capacity planning, model growth and maintain overall server environment health.
• Responsible for installing, upgrading, patching all server components – both hardware and software.
• Maintain appropriate vendor support relationships.
• Manage appropriate expenses to maintain IT spending at budgeted levels. Recommend cost effective hardware and software solutions. Seek appropriate approval for spending requests above specified guidelines.
• Responsible for development, management, and control of system and security standards across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology, Infrastructure, Systems Administration, or a related field.
• Experience administering and supporting Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration, including user, group, policy, and security management.
• Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization technologies.
• Experience managing enterprise backup and recovery solutions, preferably Veeam or similar platforms.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Proven experience with infrastructure troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution in a production environment.
• Experience performing server patching, upgrades, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• Experience supporting multi-site or geographically dispersed environments.
• Strong documentation, change management, and process discipline.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• IT-related certifications and/or an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move equipment or parcels weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to travel up to 25%, though travel is expected to be infrequent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting Citrix environments.
• Experience with enterprise storage (SAN) technologies.
• Experience supporting Linux servers.
• Experience supporting Azure/cloud infrastructure.
