Job summary

Targeted Solutions, LLC seeks an Information Technology/Information Assurance (IT/IA) Specialist II to support DoD SAP/SCI programs. The role covers day-to-day operations, security authorization, and cyber defense activities within collateral and SAP environments.

Responsibilities include configuration controls, firewall and monitoring system upkeep, vulnerability management, and support for operational tests and accreditation packages.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years related experience in IT/IA roles.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II or equivalent in lieu of IAT-Level II.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish complex operational software configuration controls and system interfaces.
• Maintain file servers, Firewalls, network access and security monitoring systems.
• Analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum performance.
• Prepare system for operational use and support tests.
• Review and update authorization packages for SAP/SCI areas.
• Notify customers of changes affecting authorization accreditation.
• Conduct cybersecurity portions of self-inspections and evidence reviews.
• Identify vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures.
• Ensure information systems and appliances are maintained and disposed of per security policies.
• Perform system patching, hardware/software upgrades, and account management.
• Provide external information system client support and remote access management.
• Assist in media control, accountability, and COMSEC activities.
