Chenega MIOS is seeking a Help Desk Technician II in Melbourne, FL to deliver first-line IT support for DoS/INL/A missions. The role emphasizes incident handling, user support, and basic security practices across desktop and networked systems.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate’s degree (or 3+ years of related experience), possess relevant certifications, and be able to pass background checks and a drug screen. A US driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or 3+ years’ relevant experience.
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, HDI-CSR, HDI-SCA, or HDI-DAST certifications are highly desired.
  • Must have a valid US Driver’s license; Secret clearance required; background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Answer calls and fulfill requests from end users.
  • Provide first-level diagnostics and password/account support.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues on desktop, laptop, and related IT systems.
  • Assist with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Maintain tickets and ensure response times meet performance standards.
  • Possibly lead small teams on projects and travel CONUS/OCONUS.
