Job summary

Qualifications

• A current CompTIA A+ certification.
• One year of experience with IT asset management.
• Detail-oriented with a proven track record in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Customer-focused and good communication skills.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. and handle physical IT assets and material goods.

• Inventory and asset management for compute and mobile devices.
• Basic technical support triage, including break/fix repairs.
• OS imaging for deployments and secure wiping for recycling/donations.
• Desk setups/teardowns for new hires and terminations; facility work.
• Hardware cleaning and refurbishment.
• Asset distribution and shipping/tracking logistics.
• Tech Ops project assistance.

Our client, the leader in the audio marketing space and an absolutely great place to work, is looking to hire an IT Equipment Inventory Coordinator for their Newark, NJ office.

NOTE: This position will be 100% onsite in Newark, NJ

Responsible for various tasks related to IT hardware, including inventory management, hardware break/fix and warranty support, setting up and collecting equipment from desks, preparing computers for deprecation, and assisting with computer setups to distribute to staff.

Basic responsibilities:

• Inventory and asset management for all compute and mobile dev devices
• Basic technical support triage, including break/fix repairs
• OS imaging for new deployments and secure wiping for recycling/donations
• Facility-related project work, such as desk setups and teardowns for new hires and terminations
• Hardware cleaning and refurbishment
• IT asset distribution and shipping/tracking logistics
• Tech Ops project assistance

Required skills:
