Job summary

E&M Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Drafter to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO, supporting NORAD. The role focuses on creating and updating IT drawing packages, analyzing user requirements, and coordinating with subject matter experts to ensure alignment with system architectures.

The candidate should have 4+ years of general work experience and be able to obtain a DoD security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level. This is a full-time, on-site position with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years of general work experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DoD clearance.
• Strong proficiency with Autodesk, AutoCAD and Visio is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/update layout drawings/packages for IT equipment installation or troubleshooting.
• Prepare and assemble documentation packages and drawing sets for SME review.
• Confer with SMEs to prepare drawing packages supporting maintenance and planning activities.
• Establish schedules for package reviews on a quarterly basis.
• Review completed drawings for accuracy and conformity to standards and regulations.
• Interpret requirements and perform analyses to ensure objectives are met.
