Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Madison, hosting WIDA within the School of Education, seeks a Director of Information Technology to lead IT across CRM, LMS, cloud, data analytics, cybersecurity, and web systems. The role partners with consortium stakeholders and university leaders to ensure technology supports multilingual education and data-informed decision making.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of IT leadership experience and a proven record of leading technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Directs strategic IT planning and aligns divisional objectives with the school-wide plan.
• Leads enterprise tech architecture, data governance, and systems integration across CRM, LMS, cloud, and analytics.
• Champions innovation, leveraging AI while adhering to policies and security standards.
• Manages IT staff, assigns projects, and oversees hiring, performance, and development.
• Develops and audits IT budgets and operating policies.
