Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing invites motivated students to join its IT Cyber Security Internship, a hands-on program designed to mentor you through threat detection, incident response, and security assessments during the May–August summer period.

You'll assist in monitoring network security, run vulnerability assessments, help maintain security posture, draft documentation, and collaborate with a friendly team to strengthen defenses and gain practical IT security experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
• Understanding of basic security principles and practices.
• Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
• Experience with security tools such as firewalls, antivirus, and SIEM.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Able to work full-time 40 hours per week during the summer (May-August), hourly pay.

Responsibilities
