Job summary

The role requires a mechanical engineering background with experience in IT cooling, strong drawing and CAD skills, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 3–5 years of experience in applications engineering or outside technical sales in IT cooling.
• Knowledge of direct expansion and VRF cooling systems, chiller systems and CRAC/CRA units.
• Ability to read, understand and create technical drawings and material.
• Advanced interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required to interact with customers, vendors and internal teams.
• Advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft Office, CAD software and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage proposals, technical information, orders and customer communications for IT cooling business.
• Serve as primary contact between customer and CPSD from proposal through delivery and transition to Service Management.
• Develop project plans with goals, scheduling, resources, risk and contingency management.
• Create, present and review electrical, schematic, system and mechanical drawings.
• Identify cost improvements and new product opportunities; manage customer documentation per quality system.
