AIRSYS USA is seeking an IT Business Partner - Operations Systems to support manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, and supply chain operations in the United States. You will serve as the liaison between business functions, the IT team, and implementation partners, driving system implementation and continuous improvement of ERP, MES, and related applications.

You will work on SAP EWM, MES, and data-driven improvements, ensuring stable day-to-day operations and alignment with business goals.

Job description

The IT Business Partner - Operations Systems is primarily responsible for supporting the business systems used by the Company's U.S. manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, and supply chain operations. The role serves as a key liaison among business functions, the corporate IT team, and external implementation partners, helping translate business needs into practical system solutions and driving system implementation, operational support, and continuous improvement.

The primary scope of this position includes ERP, MES, EWM, and other manufacturing and operations applications. The role requires a strong understanding of production, planning, material flow, warehousing, and logistics processes, as well as the ability to support related projects and ensure stable day-to-day system operations.

In addition to operations systems, the position may also provide support for other business applications used by the U.S. organization, based on business priorities. This is a business applications role and does not include responsibility for traditional IT infrastructure such as servers, networks, or desktop support.

Key Responsibilities
Business Requirements and Process Improvement
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Company's manufacturing, production planning, warehouse, logistics, supply chain, and related operational processes in the United States.
  • Work closely with business users to collect, analyze, validate, and prioritize business requirements and translate them into system requirements or improvement plans.
  • Perform end-to-end process mapping, gap analysis, and process improvement activities to support business standardization and digitalization.
  • Assist business teams in evaluating the necessity, priority, and expected value of system requests.
  • Act as the primary liaison among business users, internal IT teams, implementation consultants, and software vendors to ensure effective execution of approved requirements.
Operations Systems Support and Continuous Improvement
  • Provide day-to-day application support for ERP and related business systems and coordinate timely resolution of user issues.
  • Gradually assume responsibility for application support and operational administration of MES, SAP EWM, and other manufacturing and operations systems.
  • Collect user feedback, analyze system usage, and drive continuous improvements in functionality, user experience, and business processes.
  • Assist with business configuration, master data rules, user access, and related system governance standards.
  • Develop and maintain operating procedures, process documentation, issue logs, and support documentation.
  • Support system upgrades, functional releases, and post-deployment stabilization.
SAP and Manufacturing Systems Project Support
  • Participate in requirement gathering, solution discussions, and implementation coordination for SAP, MES, SAP EWM, and related business systems.
  • Assist with project planning and track tasks, issues, risks, and deliverables.
  • Support configuration validation, data preparation, interface verification, and business process testing.
  • Coordinate or support System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing, including test scenario preparation, issue tracking, and remediation follow-up.
  • Assist with user training, cutover preparation, system deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Coordinate with business teams, corporate IT, implementation consultants, and external vendors to support timely and high-quality project delivery.
System Integration and Data Management
  • Assist in defining business process integration and data interface requirements among SAP and other enterprise systems.
  • Support interface design, testing, issue resolution, and production validation across ERP, MES, EWM, and related applications.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining data standards for materials, customers, vendors, inventory, warehouses, and production-related information.
  • Promote ongoing improvement in data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Analyze cross-system data issues and coordinate root-cause resolution with relevant teams.
Support for Other Business Applications
  • Provide support for other enterprise business applications used by the U.S. organization, as business needs require.
  • Participate in requirement analysis, vendor coordination, testing, implementation, and application support for these systems.
  • Assist in improving process alignment, data sharing, and governance across business applications.
  • Support other U.S. business digitalization and application improvement initiatives as assigned by the IT Director.
Vendor and Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Manage or support the day-to-day coordination of implementation consultants, software vendors, and application support providers.
  • Track vendor tasks, issue resolution, service quality, and deliverables.
  • Maintain effective communication with U.S. business teams, the China-based corporate IT team, and external partners.
  • Provide regular updates to IT management regarding system operations, project status, risks, issues, and improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including experience supporting or implementing business systems in a manufacturing organization.
  • Hands-on experience using, supporting, implementing, or administering ERP, SAP, or MES systems is required.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing production, warehouse, or logistics processes is required, with the ability to understand business needs and communicate effectively with operational users.
  • Experience with business requirements analysis, process mapping, system testing, user training, or go-live support.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership, execution, and service orientation, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Ability to communicate in English with U.S. business users, the corporate IT team, and external vendors.
  • Willingness to spend time on the manufacturing floor and continuously develop knowledge of production, warehouse, and logistics operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP PP, MM, WM, or EWM modules.
  • Participation in SAP, MES, WMS, or EWM implementation and go-live projects.
  • Experience in day-to-day manufacturing systems support, business application support, or continuous improvement.
  • Experience with System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and master data management.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or other data analysis tools.
  • Experience supporting U.S. or other international business teams.
  • Experience implementing or supporting other enterprise business applications.
