Dayton Freight Company seeks a Business Analyst Intern to gain exposure across software development lifecycles. You will research processes, define needs, and propose value-adding solutions while supporting a development team and product backlogs.

You will participate in daily scrums, assist with documentation, testing, and project work, and learn to work ethically within company standards in a fast-paced, people-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented and collaborative in a development environment.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• At least 18 years old and fluent in English.
• Knowledge of databases/SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and define needs to deliver value.
• Maintain product backlogs and support the development team.
• Act as product owner for functional areas or applications.
• Maintain team schedules and participate in daily scrums.
• Support QA on delivered solutions and contribute to non-development projects.
• Create or maintain documentation for tasks and projects.
• Test and debug solutions to ensure quality.
• Collaborate with leadership to align results with goals.
