Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business & Technology Documentation Analyst for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
The Business & Technology Documentation Analyst is responsible for documenting business and technical requirements, financial processes, and technology solutions within the corporate finance technology domain. This role designs, manages, and governs documentation artifacts while supporting budgeting, allocation, and financial planning initiatives. This hybrid role requires a minimum of three days per week onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and reporting requirements from stakeholders
- Develop high-quality technical documentation, SOPs, and training materials
- Document technical details in partnership with technology and architecture teams, including system workflows, data models, data flows, and financial calculations
- Create clear architecture, process, and data diagrams using Visio
- Translate complex technical and financial concepts into structured documentation for business and technology audiences
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, process flows, data mapping documents, and project artifacts
- Serve as the liaison between Finance, Business, and Technology teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet business and reporting objectives
- Support data validation, reconciliation, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Coordinate across ERP, Essbase, and OAC teams to support end-to-end solution delivery
Requirements:
- 10+ years of Business Analysis experience supporting Finance, ERP, and enterprise reporting initiatives
- Strong functional knowledge of Oracle ERP Financials including GL, AP, and Fixed Assets
- A solid understanding of Essbase cubes, dimensions, hierarchies, and financial reporting concepts
- Understanding of Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) capabilities for dashboards, reporting, KPIs, and analytics
- Knowledge of corporate finance processes
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project Management, and Visio
- Ability to communicate complex business and technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong functional understanding of Oracle ERP, Essbase, and OAC is essential; hands-on development experience is not required
Pay range:
$42.09 - $50.09 per hour
