Zusammenfassung

Norfolk Naval Shipyard seeks an IT Specialist (PLCYPLN) to act as the primary technical advisor for IT acquisition and financial management within the Budget/Contracts Support Branch. The role supports planning, budgeting, and execution of command IT resources, reviews IT procurement policies, and prepares financial reports to guide budget decisions.

A Secret clearance is required, with occasional travel. Candidates should have experience managing IT budgets, developing acquisition packages, and

Qualifikationen

Experience managing IT budget lifecycle (planning, programming, budgeting, execution).
Experience developing and submitting IT acquisition packages with contracting offices.
Experience reviewing IT procurement policies and project plans for compliance.
Experience performing financial analysis to track expenditures and provide reports.
Experience preparing IT financial documentation to support budget formulation and execution.

Aufgaben

Serve as key technical advisor for IT acquisition and financial management.
Advise managers on decisions related to IT resources and unforeseen problems.
Review, revise, approve and implement IT procurement policy commandwide.
Prepare financial reports including expenditure trends and budget vs. actuals.
