Job summary

Encore Capital Group is seeking an IT Internal Auditor to execute IT internal audits, IT SOX, and ad hoc projects, under supervision. You will assist in planning, testing controls, and reporting findings to process owners and business leaders.

The role requires collaboration with management, interns, and external auditors, ensuring tests are completed within budget and deadlines. Training and guidance will be provided to interns and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/ MIS/ CS or related field required.
• 1+ years IT audit or IT testing experience preferred.
• CISA/CIA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute IT internal audits, IT SOX, and ad hoc projects under supervision.
• Test controls and perform design/operating effectiveness testing.
• Identify issues and report findings to process owners and managers; support remediation.
