Plante Moran is seeking an experienced IT Audit professional to lead and execute audits across financial reporting controls and IT risk areas. You will work with cross-functional teams on scoping, budgeting, and delivering high-quality engagement deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Information Systems or similar discipline required.
• 5-7 years' experience performing and supervising IT Audits, Technology Risk Assessments, or IT internal control risk evaluation and reporting.
• Current certificate or commitment to obtain preferred certifications within one year (CISA, CIA or CISSP).
• Concise professional writing skills to summarize key take aways and project challenges/deficiencies to stakeholders.
• Flexible schedule to be responsive to client requests within hours goals.
• Proactive problem-solving and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proven experience in a professional services or client-facing role, with defining scope of services and projects for new clients.
• Proficiency with audit tools and Microsoft Office suite.
• Superior attention to detail and conscientious quality of work.
• Professional demeanor with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel overnight 25-35%.

Responsibilities

• Managing and executing IT Audits (test of design, test of operative effectiveness) in support of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting for SOX, FDICIA, JSOX.
• Performing IT Audits (e.g., system development, incident response, business continuity) and Security Assessments in various industries.
• Knowledge of COBIT, CSI, NIST, ISO, and risk assessment approaches.
• Managing multiple client projects and teams across scoping, budgeting, resourcing, and delivering engagement deliverables.
• Training and guiding team members on IT Audit concepts.
• Attending and presenting at professional conference events to support team growth.
• Contributing to internal initiatives, recruiting, and exploring new technologies.
• Engaging in business development and networking activities.
• Assisting the firm in developing new tools and services for IT audit trends.
