Job summary

American Credit Acceptance (ACA) is seeking an IT Audit Manager to lead audits strengthening IT infrastructure, risk management, and compliance. You’ll work with IT and business leadership, overseeing audits across cybersecurity, cloud, and governance while developing your team. The company will not sponsor visas for this role.

You will report to the Chief Audit Executive, directing risk-based IT audits and driving strategic improvements in a dynamic, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent).
• CISA or equivalent certification (or a commitment to obtain).
• 4+ years of internal/external IT audit, GRC, Quality Assurance, SOC experience with mixed IT exposure a plus.
• Proven experience leading projects, including risk assessment, planning, execution, and issue reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IT control frameworks (COBIT, NIST, ISO 27002) and related risk areas.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with all levels of management.
• Ability to analyze complex risks, identify control gaps, and recommend practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT Risk Management: Develop and maintain ACA’s IT Risk Assessment and align with strategic objectives.
• Plan and execute risk-based IT audits across cybersecurity, cloud, change, BCP/DR, and third-party risk.
• Oversee Audit staff, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Deliver concise, impactful audit reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage regulatory, compliance, and operational audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Identify opportunities to enhance IT processes and innovate audit methodologies.
• Stay ahead of emerging IT risks and adapt methodologies accordingly.
• Collaborate with IT and business leaders to align priorities and improvements.
