Job summary

Bain & Company seeks an IT Auditor Manager in Boston to lead audit engagements focused on technology risk, cybersecurity, data governance, and AI governance within a third line of defense framework.

You will work with Global Internal Audit leadership, guiding risk-based testing, control design reviews, and stakeholder communications while growing supervisory responsibilities as the function scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, AIS or related field.
• 6–9 years IT audit, cybersecurity, or IT risk management; 2–3 years leading engagements.
• Big 4/consulting or regulated industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT audit engagements within annual plan.
• Assess AI/generative AI governance, data privacy, vendor due diligence.
• Test IT general controls, cybersecurity controls, data governance, and SDLC processes.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management; drive remediation.
• Coach and support teammates and uphold audit methodology.
