Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an IT Audit Manager for a remote consulting engagement in the United States. You will plan, execute, and report on ITGC and application control testing to support SOX compliance, coordinating with stakeholders and remediation teams.

Ideal candidates have recent SOX ITGC testing experience, familiarity with COSO/COBIT/ITIL, ERP environments, and strong documentation skills. Certifications such as CISA, CPA, or CIA are preferred.

Qualifications

• Recent experience performing SOX ITGC testing as a senior associate or manager.
• Knowledge of COSO, COBIT, and ITIL.
• Experience with ERP environments and key applications relevant to financial reporting.
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with audit or GRC tools.
• Ability to manage timelines across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CPA, or CIA are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute SOX ITGC and application control testing in accordance with established methodologies.
• Evaluate IT controls over change management, access management, operations, and interfaces.
• Perform walkthroughs, develop test procedures, and document testing results with clear evidence.
• Identify control deficiencies, assess impact, and support management with remediation and retesting.
• Coordinate with process owners, external auditors, and project stakeholders to align timelines and scope.
• Prepare status updates, testing summaries, and issue logs for leadership review.
• Support risk assessments, scoping, and control rationalization activities.

Our client seeks an IT Audit Manager to support SOX testing for a client engagement. The consultant will plan, execute, and report on ITGC and application control testing, coordinate with stakeholders, and support remediation activities to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.

Rate: $90.00 to $95.00/hr. w2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
